This week we have another twisted FireStarter, Prodigy fan Sue Pemberton

Name: Sue Pemberton
Nickname (past or present): Scoper (Maiden name was Cope)
What day and time do you present/volunteer on HRC? I don't since I had my daughter. I hope to return to presenting when she starts school this time next year!
Do you present your own show? Not any more
If yes, what is the name and content of your show?
When did you join Hospital Radio? 2007
What made you choose to volunteer for HRC? As I haven't been able to work since 2001 due to having M.E. I wanted to use my free time for good, and to get out and meet new people.
What do you enjoy most about HRC? The people I have met during my time there.
Favourite music genre?Dance (House/Trance/Drum N Bass)
First album ever bought (LP or CD)? Wham – Fantastic (on cassette!)
Favourite artist/band/singer? Prodigy
What is your most influential music memory?Working for a record company (Island) as a teenager. It was, um, eye opening.
Favourite single, 7”,12” or MP3 (for the younger generation)? New Order – Blue Monday – a real groundbreaker, especially as it was only available originally as a 12” single
Biggest artist to inspire you musically and why?The Smiths – the gallows humour in their lyrics really appealed to me as a teenager and I still love them today.
Best live concert or performance you’ve seen?Foo Fighters @ the O2, 2007 – we were 10 feet from the band at one point.
Away from music, what do you enjoy most? TV, Film, animals, football and spending time with friends and family including our menagerie of 3 cats and a dog.
What is your current occupation or study status? Not working, although as a Mum I already have a 24/7 job!
If you were hosting a dinner party, which 5 famous people would you invite (dead or alive)?Winston Churchill, Stephen Fry, Henry VIII, Rosa Parks, Lady Astor
If you could go back in time, what era would you travel to and why? Just before WW2. I'd love to have experienced the camaraderie sadly lacking in today's society.
What would be your ideal Holiday Destination? Hawaii
What would be your perfect Sunday? A walk in the woods or Hylands followed by footy on the telly and a gig and a few drinks in the evening. Perfect.
