1 - Everyday conversational language is what listeners expect from their presenters. It helps to establish a connection between presenter and listenner.

2 - Treating the audience with respect and as equals are the starting points to achieving the right tone.

3 - It's easy to slip into Jargon, abbreviations or acronyms which many of your listeners might not understand.

4 - Listen back to your on-air work and to check your speed and clarity.
