Time for some more tips from the presenting guide from the BBC. This time around music.

Things to remember

1)  Every piece of music you play will be someone's favourite.

2)  Watch timings on music. Fading songs early really annoys listeners. Always back time tracks up to junctions.

3)  Get into the habit of pre-fading music and turn up the gain on quiet intros so listeners can hear it. Don't forget to adjust the level back following the intro.

4)  Voicing over the instrumental beginnings of tracks or repeat choruses at the end of tracks can add pace to programmes. But do it too often and the complaints will roll in.

5)  Indenting the song and the artist is important but saying the same thing before and after the track is unnecessary.
